What can you do with Enhancv?

Build a resume from a template

Start from scratch, upload your old resume (PDF or Word) or paste your LinkedIn profile URL, and Enhancv turns it into one of its one- or two-column templates. Besides the usual sections, there are less common ones such as “Day of My Life” or “Life Philosophy”. Resumes download as PDF; there's no Word download.

Enhancv can also translate your resume into about 30 languages and adjust the layout to the longer text. Enhancv says translation is included in the 7-day free plan; after that it needs Pro.

Users repeatedly say the templates give limited control over layout, spacing and fonts.

Tailor it to each job and check how hiring software reads it

Paste a job ad and Enhancv shows how well your resume matches it and how an ATS would read it, which keywords are missing and what to change; its AI can rewrite your summary, bullet points and skills for that job. Its resume checker runs 27 checks on content, format and keywords, also on resumes made elsewhere.

Check the suggestions. Users repeatedly report AI rewrites that don't make sense or add details they didn't have, and checker warnings about words that aren't in their resume (Trustpilot).

Write cover letters

In the builder, you can create cover letters alongside your resumes; Pro covers up to 300 resumes and cover letters in total. There's also a free cover letter generator on Enhancv's site that works without signing up: upload your resume, paste the job ad and copy the result.

Keep track of applications

The job tracker keeps applications on a board with statuses, reminders, notes and the resume you sent; each job shows a match score against your resume. A Chrome extension saves jobs from LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, Greenhouse, Workday and other sites. Pro also adds a job board; Enhancv says it holds 1M+ job ads but does not say from which countries.

Before you pay

  • What you're chargedThe 3-month plan is selected by default, and the price depends on where you are: on October 6, 2026 a visitor in Poland saw zł119, zł215 and zł375 ( · · ). Enhancv says taxes may be added and the final price appears after you enter billing details (help center). Two reviewers reported PLN prices: in November 2025 and January 2026 they saw the 3-month plan at zł107.50 on the pricing page and zł215 at checkout; on October 3 and 6, 2026 the page itself showed zł215.
  • DiscountsThe crossed-out prices aren't earlier prices: $117 and $234 are simply $39 times 3 or 6, so the 41% and 58% savings the page shows are against monthly billing. Enhancv says it offers occasional discounts to registered users; fees paid with a promo code are non-refundable.
  • RefundsNot on monthly fees. If you stop a 3- or 6-month plan early, Enhancv's Terms and help center say you may be eligible for a partial refund: the months you used are charged at the monthly price and the difference can be refunded. By that published formula, a possible refund on the $69 plan would be about $30 after one month and nothing after two; on the $99 plan, about $60 after one month. Cancelling doesn't request a refund: you have to email help@enhancv.com, and Enhancv decides.
  • Renewal and cancellationAll plans renew automatically. You cancel on the Billing page before the next billing date and get an email confirmation; Pro stays active until the end of the paid period. After that your documents are read-only: you can view and download them, but editing needs a new Pro plan (help center).

Enhancv was founded in Sofia, Bulgaria, in 2014–2015 and has worked fully remotely since 2024, with a team of about 25 people, according to its About page. Its Terms name the provider as Enhancv R&D, under Bulgarian law. Payments go through Paddle, so card statements show “PADDLE.NET* ENHANCV” (help center).

Support works by email (help@enhancv.com; the contact link on the site uses support@enhancv.com) and a help center. Enhancv says it focuses support on Pro users, tries to answer everyone, and aims to reply the same day but can't always.

What Enhancv promises

On its site: “the world's best resume builder”, help for “more than 7 000 000 people” and “over 10 000 000 resumes” since 2016, templates “parsed at 90%+ by Sovren and RChilli”, a 2026 study that cost “over $100,000” comparing it with competitors, users hired at Spotify, JP Morgan and Microsoft, and a job board of 1M+ job ads. We haven't verified any of these.

What information Enhancv asks for

Your resume, either uploaded as a PDF or Word file or imported from your LinkedIn profile URL, and job ads you paste for tailoring. Enhancv says it doesn't share your data with third parties except partners that run the service, doesn't use it to train AI models, and lets you delete your account at any time.

Partly: the resume editor is free for 7 days with no card, and the job tracker, the resume checker and cover letter generator on its site and up to 3 Interview Help reports stay free. Whether you can download a finished resume for free, and what the account can do after 7 days, isn't confirmed.

How much does Enhancv Pro cost?

Can I get a refund?

According to Enhancv's terms, monthly fees are non-refundable. On a 3- or 6-month plan you may be eligible for a partial refund if you ask by email: the months you used are charged at the monthly price and the difference can be refunded.

What happens to my resumes if I cancel?

Pro stays active until the end of the paid period. After that you can still view and download your documents, but you can't edit them without a new Pro plan.

Can I download my resume as a Word file?

No. Enhancv downloads resumes as PDF files; one of its feature pages also mentions TXT.
