Privacy policy
Choosery has no accounts, forms or newsletters, and never asks for your name or email. The site uses analytics to see which pages are useful. This page lists what's collected, by whom, and how to switch it off.

In short
- Accounts and formsNone. You can read everything without signing up.
- AdsNone, and we don't sell data.
- Analytics without cookiesCloudflare Web Analytics counts page views for every visitor, without cookies.
- Google AnalyticsUses cookies. In the EU, the UK and Switzerland it runs only if you click Accept; elsewhere, including the US, it runs unless you decline.
- Your choice"Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page lets you accept or decline at any time.
Cloudflare: hosting and cookieless analytics
Cloudflare hosts the site and its domain. Like any host, it processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits and pages viewed without setting cookies or storing anything in your browser.
To decide whether to show the cookie banner, the page asks Cloudflare which country your connection comes from. The answer is used only in your browser and isn't stored.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics shows us which pages are read, how visitors found them (for example, from a search engine or another site), roughly where they are (such as the country), what kind of device and browser they use, and which links to other sites they click. We use it only for these reports.
- Cookies:
_gaand_ga_KW9HKWZ3JV, set on choosery.co. They tell repeat visits apart and keep a visit together; Google sets them to expire after 2 years unless you clear them or decline. - EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland: Google Analytics loads only after you click Accept. If we can't tell where you are, you see the banner too.
- Other countries, including the US: Google Analytics loads when you open a page. To turn it off, open "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page and click Decline; the cookies are deleted.
- Turned off: Google signals and ad personalization.
- How long: Google Analytics keeps the data for 14 months.
Google processes this data, and it may be handled in the US. Google also offers a browser add-on that turns Google Analytics off on every site.
Stored in your browser
Two small settings stay in your browser's local storage and are never sent to us: choosery-consent remembers your cookie choice, and choosery-theme remembers light or dark mode if you switch it.
Fonts and links to other sites
Fonts and images load from choosery.co itself, not from Google Fonts or other services.
Links to a tool's website carry a tag (utm_source=choosery and the type of page) so the vendor can see the visit came from Choosery. The tag contains nothing about you. Once you're on another site, its own privacy policy applies.
If you email us
If you write to contact@choosery.co, we use your message and address only to reply and to fix the page you wrote about.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to its use, by writing to contact@choosery.co. Google Analytics data isn't linked to your name or email, so for analytics the simplest choice is to decline cookies.
Google Analytics in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland runs on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in Cookie settings. Hosting and cookieless analytics rely on our legitimate interest in running and protecting the site. If you're in one of these places, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
