Careerflow

Careerflow is a job search organiser: a board to track applications and contacts, a Chrome extension that saves jobs, runs your search on several job sites at once and offers to fill in applications, and a checker for your LinkedIn profile. Its paid plans add AI resume tailoring, cover letters and other writing tools, and AI mock interviews; it also has its own job board in beta.

Our check: we used the free plan on Oct 3, 2026; the paid AI resume tools and mock interviews weren't tested. Details
We used a free account with a test resume: the tracker, the extension and Super Search, the job board and autofill on two application forms. Prices and the refund, cancellation and deletion rules come from Careerflow's pricing page, Terms, help center and FAQ; we bought nothing. Sources and our check

What can you do with Careerflow?

Keep track of every application

The Job Tracker is a board with Saved, Applied, Interviewing, Offer and Rejected columns. Each job keeps its salary, location, notes and documents, and you move it along by hand as things happen. A separate networking tracker keeps the people you contact, and Find Recruiters searches LinkedIn for recruiters and hiring managers at the companies you choose.

When we saved jobs from ZipRecruiter and Glassdoor with the extension, only the title, company and location came through; we pasted the description and salary ourselves. The AI resume tools work from a job on this board, so it's worth adding the description.

Save jobs and search several job sites at once

The Chrome extension saves a job you're looking at to the tracker, adds people you find on LinkedIn to your contacts and scores your LinkedIn profile. Super Search takes one query and opens it on the job sites you pick: in our test it opened Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, Glassdoor and Monster in separate tabs. It doesn't rank or match the results itself; each site shows its own.

Three of the extension's eight actions (cover letters, job description summaries and LinkedIn posts) are marked Premium.

Fill in applications

Careerflow says its extension detects application forms and fills them from your profile, naming Greenhouse, Workday and Lever, and lists 15 supported sites in the extension, most of them ATS systems. You review and submit each application yourself.

In our test it didn't work on two of the systems it lists. On a Greenhouse form the autofill button never appeared, and on an Ashby form it reported success but filled no field. We didn't find a place in the profile to enter details for autofill.

Improve your LinkedIn profile

Open your LinkedIn profile with the extension installed and Careerflow's LinkedIn Optimizer scans it in one click. According to Careerflow, it scores 14 sections weighted by how much recruiters care about them, from the headline, photo and banner to skills and work history, flags gaps such as a missing banner or a headline without keywords, and walks you through fixes while the score updates.

The scan, score and checklist are free. Premium adds an AI writer that drafts a keyword-rich headline and About section for the role you want. We saw the tool in the extension but didn't run a scan, so this is described from Careerflow's own pages.

Write resumes, cover letters and LinkedIn content with AI

The resume builder turns an uploaded resume into a base resume; ours was created from our file during setup. With Premium, the AI tailors a version for each job on your board, scores it against the posting and writes bullet points, summaries, cover letters, follow-up emails, an elevator pitch, LinkedIn headlines, About sections and posts.

On the free plan the pricing page lists one resume with basic features and a skill-match score; every AI writing tool we opened asked us to upgrade. That includes the generators Careerflow lists as free tools on its website, such as the headline and summary generators: on the free plan, pressing Generate opens the upgrade window. A Careerflow team member said on Reddit that the free plan lets you tailor one resume; we didn't see that option. We haven't used the paid tools.

Practise interviews with AI

Mock Interviews has dozens of practice scenarios grouped as technical, behavioural, negotiation, screening, case study, leadership and others, each about 40–45 minutes; Careerflow says it analyses your answers afterwards. It needs Premium Plus; Premium doesn't include it. We haven't tried it.

Premium Plus only

Browse its job board

The Jobs page is marked beta. After setup, with the search empty, its Latest Jobs feed showed “1000+ results” from many unrelated fields, from a travel nurse to a prep cook. You can filter by date and location; a score of how well a listing matches your skills is a Premium feature. We didn't search the board or check whether it recommends jobs for your resume.

Get help with salary negotiation

The app has a Negotiation Agent, marked beta, among the paid tools. Careerflow doesn't describe on its pricing page which plan includes it, and we haven't tried it.

Have a person review your resume

Careerflow sells a Resume Review by human experts, delivered by email within three business days, and a LinkedIn profile makeover. These are paid separately from Premium; see the prices below. Careerflow's page shows the review prices with “/month”, so whether you're charged once or monthly isn't confirmed. We haven't ordered one.

Before you pay

  • What you're chargedWeekly billing was preselected at the Premium Plus checkout in the app, labelled “Most Popular”: over the first 30 days it costs $99.95 (five payments), against $44.99 on the monthly plan. The pricing page shows a crossed-out $45 next to every plan, and the in-app plans “starting from” $12.99 and $25.99, crossed out. The savings labels disagree: yearly Premium Plus is “Save 35%” on the website and “Save 66%” at checkout; against paying monthly, the yearly plan saves about 44%. Seen on October 3, 2026.
  • Free trialNone offered, as far as we saw. The free plan is the way to try Careerflow.
  • RefundsGenerally no, and weekly plans are excluded. Careerflow's Terms and its refund policy (February 18, 2025) say purchases are final; Careerflow may refund at its discretion if you email support@careerflow.ai within 7 days of your first payment, a renewal doesn't start a new 7 days, and forgetting to cancel is “typically not accommodated”. The weekly subscription is “non-refundable under all circumstances”. Its FAQ promises “a refund within 7 days of purchase … no questions asked” and a help article mentions 30 days, so Careerflow's pages disagree: confirm the refund terms with Careerflow before paying.
  • Renewal and cancellationAll plans renew automatically. You cancel yourself at least 24 hours before the renewal: Profile › Manage Subscription, confirm the link Careerflow emails you, then cancel or pause in the Stripe billing portal (help center). Careerflow doesn't accept cancellations by email. Your plan stays active to the end of the paid period and your data is kept. Deleting the account itself isn't self-service: we found no delete option in our account settings, and according to the help center you ask support and deletions run once a month.

What users say

Careerflow platform

3.8/ 5 on Trustpilot
  • Too few reviews to judge: 20 in total, 19 from the past 12 months
  • 7 of those recent reviews are from people doing paid AI-training work for Careerflow's separate Human Data business, not from job seekers
  • Careerflow claimed its profile in February 2026 and asks customers to review

Extension

Chrome extension288 ratings4.4

This rates the free extension, not Premium; the store lists 200,000 users. Checked October 13, 2026; we haven't read the store reviews.

What people complain about

We found too few reports to identify recurring complaints. Single reports mention an unexpected renewal charge and a slow refund, where the reviewer says support first asked her to leave a review (Careerflow replied that it had processed the refund), and having no way to delete an account, in a review that also complains about unpaid contract work (Trustpilot).

Themes mentioned at least three times in the 11 Trustpilot reviews about the job search tools from the past 12 months and in Reddit threads (example), with the same rules for praise and complaints; reviews from Human Data contractors and posts by people tied to Careerflow are left out. Seven of the nine five-star reviews about the job search tools were posted between February 18 and March 16, 2026, soon after Careerflow claimed its profile. With so few reviews, they show what some users experienced, not how Careerflow works for most people.

Alternatives to Careerflow

Careerflow is listed in AI job search platforms, and also in Resume builders & checkers, Job boards & aggregators and Interview assistants.

About Careerflow

Careerflow is run by Careerflow Inc., under Delaware law, according to its Terms, and was founded in 2022, according to its press page. Besides job seekers, it sells plans to universities, career coaches, bootcamps and outplacement firms, and runs a separate Human Data business that hires contractors for AI-training work.

Support is through the help center, an in-app chat (a bot first, then a person, according to one reviewer), email at support@careerflow.ai and a Discord community. Careerflow's FAQ says email gets a reply within one business day.

What Careerflow promises

On its website: “1M+ job seekers served” (the same page also says “over 1.2 million” and, in its description, “2M+”), “60% faster time to interviews”, “2x more job offers” and tools to get hired “10X faster”; the paywall after setup says its premium tools are “10X more effective”; its Chrome Web Store listing says the LinkedIn optimizer makes you “40X more likely to land an opportunity”. Its autofill page promises to “fill out any job application in seconds”. None of these come with a method, and we haven't measured them. During our visit the site showed pop-ups like “… from the United States just bought …”.

What information Careerflow asks for

Your resume, which becomes your base resume; your LinkedIn profile when you use the extension's checker; and whatever you add about jobs and contacts in the trackers. Account deletion is by request to support, processed in a monthly batch (help center); the FAQ says you can delete it in your settings, but we found no such option in our account.

FAQ

Is Careerflow free?

Yes: the free plan doesn't expire, needs no card and includes the job and networking trackers (current limits not confirmed), the Chrome extension with Super Search, recruiter search, autofill, a LinkedIn score and one basic resume. AI writing and resume tailoring need Premium, including the generators listed as free tools on its website, and mock interviews need Premium Plus.

How much does Careerflow Premium cost?

$23.99 a month, $8.99 a week, $54.99 every 3 months or $172.99 a year; Premium Plus, with mock interviews, is $44.99 a month. There's no free trial.

Can I get a refund from Careerflow?

According to its Terms, purchases are final; Careerflow may refund at its discretion if you email support within 7 days of your first payment, and weekly plans are excluded. Its FAQ promises a 7-day refund with no questions asked, so the company's own pages disagree.

How do I cancel Careerflow?

In your profile under Manage Subscription, which opens the Stripe billing portal, at least 24 hours before the renewal; cancellations by email aren't accepted. Premium stays active to the end of the paid period.

Does Careerflow apply to jobs for me?

No: its extension offers to fill in application forms and you submit them yourself; in our test it filled nothing on a Greenhouse or an Ashby form. Its job board, in beta, is a feed you browse yourself.
