What can you do with Simplify?

Find jobs that match your profile

After a short setup with your target roles, location, salary and resume, Simplify shows a daily feed of job matches and a full job board with filters. Each job page shows how many of the posting's keywords your resume covers and a block for getting referred through hiring managers and university alumni.

Matches cover the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy and Spain; you choose the countries during setup.

In our test, the setup screen and our filtered job-board search showed different totals; we didn't establish why. Simplify describes Job Matches and the Job Board as different ways to select jobs. Several of the top results had been posted a month or more earlier.

Fill in applications with the Copilot extension

Install the Chrome extension (or turn it on in Safari on iPhone), fill in your profile once, and Copilot fills application forms on company career sites: contact details, links, your resume and saved answers such as work authorization. It saves the job to your tracker and lists the fields you still need to check. You review and submit each application yourself.

In our test on four forms, Copilot filled the profile fields and the resume every time and left job-specific questions, such as relocation, start date or company declarations, for us. When the exact same question comes up again, Copilot reuses the answer you wrote before. Generating AI drafts for such questions is listed as a Simplify+ feature; in our free account the setting for AI answers during autofill was off, and we didn't test whether generation works on the free plan.

Tailor your resume to a job

The resume builder scores your resume and lists the keywords from a job posting that are missing. On the free plan you see the score and the gaps and edit yourself; Simplify+ adds AI that rewrites the resume for the job, adds missing keywords and saves the result as a separate version, so your original stays unchanged.

When we clicked “AI Generate” on the free plan, it opened the Simplify+ paywall.

Practise interviews with AI

Simplify's AI Interview Coach runs practice interviews for the role, company and industry you choose, with behavioral, technical, case-study and role-specific questions, and gives feedback on each answer. Simplify says practice is free with no limit on sessions. It also says what you share in sessions is added to your candidate profile and used for job matches, recruiter introductions and resume recommendations.

Let Autopilot apply for you

Beta · Simplify+ · not tested by us

Autopilot opens a company's application, fills it in from your profile, tailors your resume if you choose, writes a cover letter when the form requires one and submits it. Choosing Autopilot means submitting: there is no review step. Simplify says it fails an application rather than guess an answer it isn't sure about (help center).

In October 2026 it was in beta for a subset of Simplify+ members and only worked with some application systems. The plan includes 20 Autopilot credits a week; a credit is used only when an application is submitted, unused credits don't carry over, and extra credits can't be bought yet (credits).

Keep track of applications

Jobs you autofill are saved to the job tracker automatically, and you can add applications from other sites. The iPhone app shows the same tracker, job feed and profile.

Before you pay

  • What you're chargedWeekly billing costs the most over a month: on the weekly plan your first 30 days take five payments, $99.95, against $39.99 on the monthly plan. The paywall shows the plans as daily prices ($2.85, $1.33 and $0.99 a day), with “save 50%” and “save 65%” compared with paying weekly. While we looked, a pop-up said “25 job seekers upgraded to Simplify+ in the past hour, verified 1 minute ago”. Seen on October 3, 2026.
  • Free trialThe paywall showed no trial; the free plan is the way to try Simplify.
  • RefundsUsually not. Under the Refund Policy (updated August 26, 2026), payments are non-refundable once Simplify+ is active, and dissatisfaction with AI output doesn't qualify. If a renewal was charged by mistake, Simplify may give a pro-rated refund if you write within 24 hours, minus payment fees. For a verified, prolonged technical problem it may give credit or a refund after a call where you show the issue. Purchases in the iPhone app are refunded only by Apple. Three of the 14 recent reviews on Trustpilot describe refund requests that were turned down or only partly refunded.
  • Renewal and cancellationPlans renew automatically. On the web you cancel under Profile › My Simplify+ › Manage Subscription and confirm twice; Simplify+ stays active until the end of the paid period (help center). If you subscribed in the iPhone app, you cancel in your Apple subscriptions.

This rates the free Copilot extension, not Simplify+. Checked October 3, 2026; we haven't read the store reviews.

What people like

  • It saves time on applications
  • The job tracker keeps everything in one place

What people complain about

  • Too expensive for what it does
  • Less automated than expected; autofill leaves fields blank or fills them wrongly
  • Refund requests turned down or only partly refunded

Themes mentioned at least three times in the 14 Trustpilot reviews from the past 12 months, with the same rules for praise and complaints. With so few reviews, they show what some users experienced, not how Simplify works for most people.

What Simplify promises

On the Simplify+ paywall: “Simplify+ users see 2x more interviews after upgrading”, users who upgrade “get hired a month sooner and cut 5+ hours of job search time every week on average”, and “Join 50k+ users”. On its About page: “2M+ users” and “200M+ job applications”. During setup: 2,957 matching jobs for our test profile (see What it does). We haven't measured any of these.

What information Simplify asks for

To fill in applications, a detailed profile: contact details, links, education, work history, location, work authorization and salary expectations, plus optional answers such as disability status; you can switch off autofill for single fields. Networking asks you to connect LinkedIn and, if you like, Google Contacts. Answers from AI interview practice are added to your candidate profile, Simplify says. Simplify says it doesn't sell your data to advertisers. Recruiters can find your profile only if you turn on “Show Profile to Recruiters”.

We used the free plan with a test resume of a senior performance marketer: job matches, the job board, the resume builder and Copilot on four application forms. We haven't used Simplify+, Autopilot, AI interview practice or the iPhone app. Choosery has no affiliate or business relationship with Simplify. How we research

  • Soft pass: repetition and test details trimmed; card summary; visible screenshot captions; job-count observation reworded
  • Easier first screen; clearer payment conditions and comparisons; short explanations of terms
  • Added AI interview practice; clarified saved vs AI-generated answers and the job-count observation
